Creative Crafts

Creative Crafts give individuals the opportunity to express themselves by doing something that is absorbing and enjoyable, whilst developing problem solving transferrable skills.

Engaging in creative crafts can offer a variety of benefits for people with disabilities, providing not only enjoyable activities but also promoting personal development, social interaction, and improved well-being.

Benefits of Creative Crafts

  • Creative Crafts give participants with physical and learning disabilities begin to overcome the challenges they face in many different ways.

  • Creative crafts give participants the opportunity to express themselves by doing something that is absorbing and enjoyable, whilst developing problem-solving skills, which can be used outside the course.  The arts offer individuals with learning disabilities dynamic ways of learning, and just as importantly, a way to fully discover their own self-worth.

  • Creative crafts sessions currently run  during the summer holidays and half term.
