The Coast to Coast Charity Walk

Sandie and Lol's Coast to Coast Walk for the Moat

Sandie Jackson (Operations Manager) and her husband Lol (Volunteer) walked the Alfred Wainwright Coast to Coast 197 Mile Walk in aid of the Albrighton trust; it took the pair 14 days to complete their challenge.

Sandie and Lol expect to raise over £1500 for the Albrighton Trust. Sandie said it was the most challenging thing she had had ever done, but it was very enjoyable, even when the British summer weather was at its worst.

The walk began in St Bees in the Lake District taking in deep-sided valleys, lakeshores and Remote Mountain passes.  Next is the limestone country of the Yorkshire Dales, the old market town of Richmond marks the end of the dales before the path crosses the vale of York and rises over the rolling moorland hills of the North Yorkshire Moors finishing in Robin Hood's Bay.
