Fund raising & sponsorship
No Local Authority or Government aid is received by the Charity - we rely totally on fundraising events, donations from individuals or Trusts and Foundations to enable our very necessary work to continue.

Our prime need at present is a computer with an A3 inkjet colour printer for the development of our environmental education programme.

We invite business sponsorship for visits by Schools, Hospices etc. and also for fundraising functions.

Individual gardens are available for sponsorship.

We stage several fundraising events each year, future ones being:

  • Ascot in Edgbaston Garden Party, Birmingham, on 22nd June 2001
  • Better Ball Medal & Putting Competition at Nailcote Hall Golf, Hotel & Country Club, Berkswell Nr. Coventry on 24th June 2001
  • UK National Fishing Week 18th to 27th August 2001. This is for the benefit of children and adults. "Learn to Fish" Days, competitions and other daytime and evening events will be taking place.
  • Italian Party Evening at La Galleria Restaurant, Paradise Place, Birmingham on 27th September 2001
  • President’s Evening at Nailcote Hall Golf, Hotel & Country Club, Berkswell, Nr Coventry. Black tie event on 18th October 2001.
