Volunteering

Can You Make a Positive Contribution to Charity and Volunteer at the Moat and Gardens?

Volunteers of all ages, and a wide variety of skills and back grounds are an invaluable asset to the charity. At various times we organise courses such as Health and Hygiene and Safety First to equip our volunteers for the work they do at the charity.  We are always grateful to the many people who give their time, skill, energy and expertise here at the Albrighton Trust (Moat and Gardens).  There are many opportunities for you if you would like to be a part of what we do.  We have people who help in the gardens, volunteers who help with the fishing project and others who offer clerical assistance in our busy office. Fundraisers are always welcome.

Volunteers have and do play an important part in our continued development.

Our aim is to improve people’s lives and you can play a vital role in making this happen.

All the staff and volunteers of The Albrighton Trust (Moat and Gardens) are subject to CRB checks and organisers of events at The Moat and Gardens can be assured that their charges are in the care of qualified safe hands.

Gain experience by working as a volunteer on of one of our horticultural or angling programmes or assisting in one of our art and craft classes. It certainly looks good on your CV if you have worked as a volunteer. Volunteering is fun it can be a great way to make friends whilst making a real difference to other people.

Does your company encourage volunteers?
If so, as a charity we are seeking PR, fundraising and Website skills. Can you please assist?
