The wheelchair friendly paths and the large platforms make this an ideal place for Anglers who have disabilities. Come as an individual or come with a group. Individuals are invited to bring their own fishing tackle if they wish, but must use the Trust's landing nets. In the interests of the welfare of the fish we do not use keep nets at the moat clients record their catches photographically. If you don't have your own fishing tackle you can hire equipment from the office.
The facilities mean that you will not need to be uncomfortable regardless of the weather. The well stocked waters mean that you will never go home with a blank return when you fish the Moat. Group organisers are reminded of the advisability of booking Qualified Angling Coaches for their sessions, these ensure the safety and well being of group members and will add to the enjoyment and success of the day. Whether coming as an individual or a group it is always necessary to book in advance.
